4S Ranch Fields Site of Chelsea King Fundraiser

La Jolla Youth Baseball has donated its field at Cliffridge Park for use on Sunday to raise money for the Chelsea’s Light Scholarship Fund. In addition, the La Jolla Surf, a 12-and-under team managed by Tim Scott, Greg Hansen and Paul Delmore, will participate.

Hundreds of youth baseball players from organizations throughout the region participated in a one-day tournament last weekend to raise money for the Chelsea’s Light Scholarship Fund. 4S Ranch Community Park fields were among several sites hosting games, which resulted in a $13,000 donation to the fund, in the memory of Chelsea King.

Triple Crown Sports, the San Diego Show baseball organization and Full Gorilla Apparel sponsored the event.
