Parents and families are encouraged to attend Cyber Crime Forum from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 24 at Del Norte High School in 4S Ranch.
Sponsored by the San Diego North Student Chamber of Commerce, the event features a panel of speakers — including Jon Moffat (Vista Teen Cyber Ambassador Program) and Chuck Arnold (ICAC) – who will discuss immediate steps families can take to prevent cyber crimes while building a foundational understanding of best cyber security practices.
The presentation will be interactive, fun and educational; students may submit their attendance as community service credit for required classes. The event will also include a time for questions following the panelist presentation.
Del Norte High School is located at 16601 Nighthawk Lane, just off Camino Del Norte in 4S Ranch.
