Yoga with Alex is hosting a free Power Yoga class to raise donations to help foster children in San Diego.

Alexandra Linyard, a certified yoga instructor who teaches Power Yoga at the Family Karate studio in 4S Ranch is hosting a free class on Sunday, June 10 at 5 pm. Donations will be accepted and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Voices for Children.  Novice to yoga are welcome to participate in the class.

Voices for Children addresses the child abuse crisis through its volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). Voices for Children is the only agency in San Diego County designated by the courts to provide volunteers advocates to foster children to ensure their needs are met in the courtroom, classroom and community. CASAs are empowered to identify and protect the best interests of foster children. Voices for Children has recruited, trained and supervised these volunteers, or Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), for more than 30 years. Visit www.voices4children.com for more information.

Alexandra Linyard promotes her yoga classes under the brand Yoga with Alex. She is a certified and registered instructor by the Yoga Alliance®.
