Children’s Summer Book Clubs

Come join MRES’s Teacher of the Year, Lindsey Orrell, for engaging, interactive, and educational book clubs this summer!

Book Clubs are held at the 4S Ranch Library, begin June 19^th and run throughout the summer.

Benefits:

Pre-reading discussions and activities to excite all readers
Engaging, hands-on activities
Provides important language and literacy models for all students
Two, one hour*, group guided discussions [per book] to help children use language to analyze literature
Aims to maintain and increase reading skills over the summer
Post-reading discussions and activities to share ideas, form connections, and expand children’s learning

*Meetings will occur from 5 – 6 pm on designated days.

**$50/person per weekly book club. Book not included.
