Deputy District Attorney to Speak on Bullying at Rancho Bernardo Community Council Meeting

The Rancho Bernardo Community Council’s September 27th guest speaker will be Deputy District Attorney Elizabeth Renner, assigned to the Juvenile Delinquency Division., Ms. Renner has handled hundreds of juvenile cases and works closely with probation, school resource officers and officials on school violence and bullying issues.
Ms. Renner will be focusing on explaining the differences between traditional bullying and cyber bullying; traits and characteristics of traditional bullies and cyber bullies; traits and characteristics of bullying victims; and how to spot bullying and effectively deal with it. Question and answer period to follow the presentation. This is opened to the public and everyone is strongly encouraged to attend.
